Acceptance and Platform Terms
By downloading or using Teleprompter For You you agree to these Terms of Use and to the terms of the store you downloaded it from. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The App and Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Teleprompter For You on your own devices, subject to these terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, or use it in a way that breaks the law or the rights of others.
Your Content
Scripts, captions and recordings you create are stored on your device. You own your content and are responsible for it, including for having the right to record, read and share the material you use. We do not access your content.
Free and Pro Features
The core teleprompter is free. Some features require Teleprompter For You Pro. The features included in Pro and the prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Subscriptions and Purchases
- —Teleprompter For You Pro is offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription and a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in your local currency in the app and may vary by country.
- —Purchases are charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
- —Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown unless you cancel before the end of the current period (on iOS, at least 24 hours before). Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
- —Introductory prices or trials apply only when they are shown to you at purchase and you are eligible for them. The full price after any introductory period is shown before you confirm.
- —You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time. iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- —You can restore earlier purchases in the app using Restore.
Refund Policy
All purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play, so we cannot issue refunds directly. On iOS visit reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android request a refund through Google Play.
Acceptable Use
- —Do not use the app for unlawful purposes or to infringe the rights of others.
- —Do not attempt to bypass purchase checks, unlock Pro features without paying, or interfere with the app or its services.
- —Do not rely on the app where a malfunction could cause harm.
Third-Party Services and Accessories
The app uses third-party services for analytics, attribution and purchases, described in our Privacy Policy. Features that use external devices, such as remotes, foot pedals or external displays, depend on those devices and your operating system, and may not work with every model.
Availability and Changes
We may update, change or discontinue features or the app to improve it or for legal or technical reasons. We may update these terms and show the date of the latest update above; continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
Disclaimer and Liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data stored on your device. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend access if you breach these terms. Cancelling a subscription is done in your store account, as described above.
